About

The Hawai‘i Department of Health (DOH) is dedicated to promoting and protecting the health and well-being of kūpuna throughout our islands. Through its Executive Office on Aging (EOA) and other community programs, the DOH connects seniors to services that support healthy aging, disease prevention, long-term care, caregiver support, and emergency preparedness. Kūpuna can access trusted information about vaccinations, chronic disease management, mental health services, and more, ensuring they can age safely and comfortably in their homes and communities. The department also works closely with local agencies, healthcare providers, and volunteers to strengthen Hawai‘i’s support network for older adults, so every kūpuna receives the care and respect they deserve.
